Video Memorial Tributes
A little about how we work…
We produce video memorial tributes for discerning families all over the nation. Our tributes are modern and elegant, with no traces of 80’s graphics or other cheesiness. They are far superior to a funeral home in-house slideshow, as well as Do It Yourself software such as Picasa, PowerPoint and even iMovie.
For your investment, you also receive the benefit of a dedicated video professional with attentive personal service, an in-person consultation, and invaluable advice throughout the project. Your final result is a top-notch, heirloom quality keepsake video with elegant background and movement, custom music choices (including your favorites!), and high-end packaging.

SIGNATURE Memorial Video Tributes
Our fully-custom, SIGNATURE Videos are simply the best quality professional slideshows in the nation. We have worked with every major slideshow software and use a combination of them along with professional video editing software Final Cut Pro to produce the most outstanding, emotional tributes for events when only the best matters. Far beyond a simple PowerPoint or Picasa slideshow, these emotional powerhouses are fully customizable, including “life sections” in the slideshow, video clips mixed in, multiple themes and graphics in one slideshow, “title” slides and verses, variable length of time certain photos are shown, and huge range of sophisticated (NEVER cheesy) animations and effects on each photo.
We highly recommend the SIGNATURE video slideshows for memorial services, weddings and milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Additional Information:
Paper Photos
We often get asked, how do you handle paper photos? There are several options.
Option 1: If you are local to the Portland area, just bring them to your in-person consultation (for SIGNATURE slideshows), or meet us somewhere (EXPRESS slideshows) – small travel fee will apply.
Option 2: Pop them in the mail (in a Ziploc bag please for waterproofing!) and we’ll scan and repair color, scratches, etc.
Option 3: Take photos to your local photo lab such as Target, Wal-Mart, Rite-Aid, or Costco to scan. Photos need to be scanned at a minimum of 300dpi, and should be in JPG (JPEG) format. Tell your lab to use the least compression setting, which results in the highest quality image. Once your photos are digital, we set you up with a secure online folder where you can upload photos.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to provide professional results, all images should be at least 1200 pixels on the long side of the image. Scanning a 4×6 picture at 300dpi will ensure this!
A Personal Note from Karyn at TribYoute:
If you have recently experienced loss, or are making preparations for a terminal illness in your family, I want to express my sincerest condolences. There is never a good time for death, and always loved ones left behind, wondering what is next.
Each life is special and deserves recognition, regardless of the number of days, hours or minutes lived. I personally have lived through the loss of a pregnancy, a grandmother whom I was very close to, and two pets, a horse and a dog, that were like siblings growing up.
While the pain from each type of loss is different, it is no less real. The need for remembering and honoring our loved ones is crucial to our well-being and the process of acceptance that can bring peace back into our lives. One tool in remembrance is a video tribute, and its power in healing should not be taken for granted. Video memorial tributes allow us to re-experience the past, relive our best times, and feel the emotions of songs listened to with our loved ones.
You should know that having an actual memorial service is not a prerequisite for creating a memorial video tribute. The video tribute of your loved one will likely have more value to you personally as time goes on, than it will at the event itself. Even if your loved one is not having a service, please consider creating a video tribute of him or her. You won’t regret it in the years to come.
I wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time and look forward to serving you with the utmost care, compassion, dignity and respect.
